Not using it as a replacement, new construction...** A: Dusty, I have replaced my original unit with this direct fit replacement pump. The threads on the pump are of garden hose type. You could use adaptors of 1/2", 5/8" or even 3/4" and hose clamp on the tubes as mine were. Mine were 1/2" for my RV. Plenty large considering the pump output. Use Hi grade clear tubing to prevent plastic odor from getting into your water.
