I ordered the 9005, which would be the replacement for the high beam on the 2015 Silverado 2500. But to my dismay the high beam dust cover is about 1/4inch shorter than the low beam dust cover, thus making the use of this bulb a losing combination. In the low beam location the bulb would work, since there is just enough room to snuggly replace dust cap. Being very careful not to damage cooling ribbons when replacing dust cap, but this would work. Using the high beam bulb for the low beam bulb would be excessively bright. I do have the JDM H11 2800LM bulb as my low beam. Happy with them , just wanted more light for high beam. These Amak bulbs seemed to be well made, aluminum and ceramic construction. Wires and such fit inside the headlamp housings on the Silverado for a clean installation, except for the depth clearance on the high beam location. Like the bulbs, the construction, and the brightness.
