## Questions & Answers

**Q: How does Nikwax Fabric & Leather Proof protect?**
A: Nikwax Fabric & Leather proof is easy and quick to apply; it leaves flexible water repellent treatment on individual fibres of fabric and leather. This allows moisture vapour to pass through, maintaining breathability and keeping your feet dry.

**Q: Is cleaning the product as important and waterproofing?**
A: Yes. Using the right cleaning product is important as using the right waterproofing product. Always clean your waterproof footwear with Footwear Cleaning Gel. Remember that dirt itself works against DWR, so regular cleaning will enhance performance.

**Q: Do Nikwax treatments change the appearance of footwear?**
A: Light/coloured leather may darken after treatment. Test on a hidden area first.
