She has tolerated well with absolutely no side effects or issues with this product. She loves the taste and for a 15 year old dog, she is still very active and playful. **Q: These are hard as a rock. Is it supposed to be? It says soft chew.** A: I'm sorry to hear that..! Was the seal broken and was there any air left in the bag when you received it? But yes they do have a hardness to them--they are not as hard as mint chews but not as soft as you would expect...You should be able to break it with your fingers. **Q: The first picture matches what I buy my dog from local pet stores. When comparing the rest of the package photos with mine, they r not the same. Why?** A: The first pic matches what I get from Amazon. The other pics don't. Dog likes product regardless, but also raised the same question. **Q: How many calories per chew? Mine aren’t soft but dog loves them anyway. Must count his calories for medical purposes.** A: I find that these have very few calories as both of my dogs which are 15 and 16 years old have tolerated these vitamins with no weight gain or any health issues. Im on my second bag and he will eat this before the buddy booster, he loves the taste that much. I’m gonna try hop and joint in this brand after the buddy boosters are gone. 🤞🏻 I have a 15year old, Extremely picky Shih Tzu. I had bought him another brand of vitamins and he would not touch them. They had amazing reviews and a ton of reviews and I thought I was going to be in luck. However, I was wrong. I ordered these ones after reading the reviews of people saying they’re picky Dogs ate them and they smelled like a treat. He loves these things. They do smell kind of like a slim Jim I feel lol. He hasnt been taking them long enough for me to see if there’s a difference.
