A lot of flashbacks are used to tell the story and sometimes the chronology of what is happening a bit hard to follow in a couple of places. But for the most part - no problem. Now for my main complaint. This story aired on Swedish television in 2012 and in the UK with English subtitles either in 2013 or 2014. Why does it take until 2020 to be able to see this in the United States especially for such a quality production? Review: EVOCATIVE OF THE PERIOD, MOVING IN ALL WAYS!! - This Swedish TV miniseries is excellent. Moving story of two families affected by the AIDS crisis of the 1980s. As stated on the "cover blurb", a combo of ANGELS IN AMERICA and QUEER AS FOLK. Acting is wonderful, the telling of the story of the 2 main characters through glances of their back story is beautifully accomplished.
