Review: So far, so durable! - It’s technically not rated for swimming- just splash proof, but I took it to typhoon lagoon, open to close, in the lazy river for hours, on multiple rides, and it kept ticking! Obviously take it swimming at your own risk but for $34 this is an epic watch! Casios are always pretty good quality even at their cheapest so I feel like this reflects that, it may not be rated for swimming but I do believe it was tested to far exceed only splash resistance.

A: Anything that was $3 in 1990 is now $10.  Back in 1990 gas was $1.16/gal.  The average home price was under $150000.  As time moves on prices go up.

**Q: Does the count down timer be set to seconds?**
A: No countdown timer. Look at Model F201WA-1A for that feature.

**Q: how far in depth is the water resist**
A: If you want to be absolutely safe, get the Casio MRW200 dive watch which is good for 100 m.
Casio F91W is water resistant and you could take it in shower, swimming, etc.

**Q: The rubber band broke after 2 years of use. I love this watch and don't want to get a new one. Any tips for a replacement band? Maybe a nylone one?**
A: Aliexpress or ebay you'll find almost exact generic replacements for a couple bucks shipped. Search for words like F91W strap, 18mm watch band. You can also use normal 18mm spring bars instead of the pins that are stock with the F91W.

Lightweight, practical, great quality with retro vibes Just what I needed for a recent trip that required keeping tract of the new time zone during flight. For instructions on how to use, I just found a YT video, instead of reading the smaller print. I have not had it long enough to have an opinion about battery life.
