Review: Comfy, dressy pants. New fav. - Ok, I still don’t know what cut these are but I would say somewhere between bootcut and like a straight wide leg? They are fitted through the top, straight and then straight to the bottom with the a wide leg opening from the knee down. But ad pictured in the product photos, these are not like the flowy wide leg pants a palazzo style. I got the Heather gray color and they look very nice and classy. Definitely going to be my dressier work days go-to. I wore these and dressed them up with the heels, and the black top/blazer you can kind of see pictured to work one day and my husband was like oh you look extra professional today! The main highlight: They are comfy as heck! The stretch is just right, and pretty much true to size, with some caveats. I’m 5’4” and about 170ish, thick thighs, some butt, not a lot of hips, then some pudgy stomach stuff takes over the waistline. I normally wear a 10 regular and purchased that size. At first, I was a little worried they would be tight and that it would put strain on the fly/button but once they were past my thighs and all the way up I could tell they would be fine by the stretch in them. I was very pleased with how they hugged my butt and actually made it look more like the cute booty I used to have in my 20s! 😂 I tried to take pics of back but, girl, they couldn’t do it justice. lol Anyway, the only con would be if you are short, these absolutely run long. I don’t mind that, I will be wearing these with heels and I like my pants on the longer side, so not a problem for me. I did add a pic of the length in a pair of heeled boots, probably about 3” heels so you can see how they hit. The material weight is a mid weight. Might be ok in summer with AC in office setting, maybe a little warm. Not heavy though I’ll be wearing these through Michigan winters just running from my car to the office. It’s not like I’m going doing anything active in them. Perfect for fall/spring. I have only worn them with belts. I just feel like it pulls the outfit together better. So not sure if there would be the back gap issue or slipping but they feel like they’re secure all around without a belt. All pockets are real, just bit smaller like you’d expect on dressy pants. They have been very wrinkle resistant so far, even a bit pet hair resistant. I’m hoping the black material is the same because I just ordered these again in black. (Fingers crossed they’re just as good) I do still prefer everyday casual wide, flowy work pants, but these are absolutely up there with my new top fav pants.

Fit perfect, a little snug, for reference I usually wear between a 4 and 6. I would say these are more snug than a usual size 6, but still work perfectly. The material surprised me because I was not expecting them to be so soft! They are also on the thicker side, but that does not compromise for the comfortability. ABSOLUTELY adorable and will be purchasing other colors. With a nice crisp iron on these, they will work perfectly for the office. **Q: What does straight leg mean?**
A: Generally, in women’s clothes, straight means the hem opening is same as thigh.  Imagine you are preparing the pants to hang... hold upside down at hems, hold inseams together & outer seams to the inner seams.  For straight, the width at hem is same as thigh.  For tapered, the width at hem is narrower than thigh.  For curvy, the narrowest part is at the knee (or just above).

**Q: What are the inseam lengths ?**
A: I’m 5’8” and the regular length fit perfectly on me so I’d say the regular is about 31-32” inseam.

**Q: Are the solid colors solid? Or more similar to Jean?**
A: The solid colors are solid. The "rinse" description is more like a jean look. Jet rinse looks like black jeans. Black looks like solid black.

**Q: What is the difference between "short" and "tall" of size Zero?  Length of the leg, or length of pants?**
A: I stand about 5'4' and size short is perfect for me. I am not sure of difference between the short and tall. Maybe about 5 inches.

Ok, I still don’t know what cut these are but I would say somewhere between bootcut and like a straight wide leg? They are fitted through the top, straight and then straight to the bottom with the a wide leg opening from the knee down. But ad pictured in the product photos, these are not like the flowy wide leg pants a palazzo style. I got the Heather gray color and they look very nice and classy. These are fast fashion slacks, so of course there are a few things left to be desired, but overall, they're solid. FIT: I bought these in a 12 long, and they seem true to size. I'm 5'9", 150lbs, waist = 30", hips = 42", with a booty and thick thighs. Usually I need pants to be taken in at the waist, but these I can make do with no alterations. I'd call these mid rise (10"), though they do come high enough in the back for me. The long inseam measures 33.5". There is not enough fabric to add extra length at the hem. DETAILS: Pockets are rather shallow, but there are 2 in front and 2 in back. Standard fly zipper runs smooth, button is plastic and sewn on (not jeans-style). Standard belt loops. The waistband is lined with a wide, flat elastic which appears to be good quality. STYLE: I'd call this a relaxed fit, or maybe a wide/straight leg. It's not quite wide leg, but definitely not skinny or tapered. The fabric is mildly stiff, creating a clean line. The carbon rinse color is a cool tone heather grey reminiscent of denim. PHOTOS: Note that the smudges are on the mirror, not on the pants 😁.
