I put about half of cup in middle, fill with water half way to let grounds settle and top off with other half cup of ground coffee. Top off with water. Put in fridge overnight. Next day, nice strong coffee that I use liquid creamer and sugar syrup to taste. Comes out great! **Q: I can not get the little lid off. If it were perfect, the handle and exterior would be stainless steel instead of plastic but the carafe is glass which is the important part. It’s easy to brew the coffee, easy to clean, even the bottom unscrews to release the grounds. It would’ve still been good without this feature but it makes it even easier to rinse clean. Simply the best of the best. I’ve always wanted to be able to drink black coffee but the bitterness was too much. I couldn’t believe the first time I tasted my sister’s home cold brew!
