What turns a mono input into stereo is the use of two microphones and maybe a linear pcm recorder. I use a TASCAM DR-60DmkII to which I connect two microphones. It is connected to my Iphone via a trs 3.5mm and an adapter for Iphone just like the Movo adapter for the DJI. I don't know how the DJI processes the stereo signal when it adds it to the video but the Tascam also records into a mini sd card which allows for additional capabilities. But I understand that the DJI Osmo pocket has incredible stereo internal mics. **Q: Will this work with the dji osmo action 3?** A: More than likely it should work with DJI Osmo 3 action in my opinion because you charge it with a USB C the same as the pocket Osmo and this same port is where you add this cord.
