I bought this product solely on the recommendation I found on a "best-of" website for this product being fragrance free (as in almost no fragrance but of course, it has the DHA smell). Then I found an Amazon review from another fragrance-avoider chemically sensitive person who strongly recommended the product. I received my bottle 2 days ago and tried it for the first time yesteray morning. I detest all fragrances, and have been looking for a product that has no added fragrance. I can't say this product is fragrance-free, it does have a light cocount smell fresh from the bottle but not comletely offensive. It also disappeared in a few hours and the smell converted to the DHA skin-browning smell, but even that wasn't offensive. I actually went to bed 14 hours later without showering first - and I've never done that with a self tanner. It was remarkable that the smell was that minimal that I could sleep with it on. Upon application, the cream was white and did not absorb immediately, but it did within 10 minutes. The moisturinzing quality is *good*. I've found sevelal gradual tanners including St Tropez that are actually quite drying, but 24 hours later, this product is still nicely moisturizing without being overly sticky or tacky like Jergen's (which has the worst most overpowering gross scent). I was also delighted by the color that had developed over 24 hours -I'm definitely more tan that after one application of Jergen's fair/light gradual tanner. I dare say, that my color with the Bahama product is absolutely perfect today. It isn't too light, it isn't dark, it's a nice golden glow just shy of medium. My skin is naturally light/pale with some pinkness and I'm blue-eyed, so this color is appropriate and gorgeous. It will definitely become my go-to tanner. If you like low-fragrance products, you might also like St.Tropez Gradual Tan Body Lotion Light/Medium, but that costs a lot more than this Bahama tan product. I have also heard good things about St.Tropez Self Tan Express Mist being low-fragrance. Again, it's a lot more expensive. So with the Amazon $4.00 discount today, I can buy another bottle of this Bahama tan for $16 and I am very very happy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Natural glow without the chemicals! *by H*** on Reviewed in the United States on January 14, 2019* I got this product to continue a nice, sun-kissed looked throughout the winter. I'm very particular about what I put on my skin, just as much as what I eat, because your liver really doesn't get the chance to filter things when put on topically- things go right in! I'm currently entering my 9th month of pregnancy, so I've been even more aware of what I put on lately. I love this product for a few reasons: 1) It seems to work just gradually enough- within a couple uses, I can see a subtle difference (I even mix it with another oil or organic lotion most of the time) 2) The smell is really light and pleasant, but not overpowering at all- I can still wear certain essential oils for scent purposes and it does not interfere. 3) This has helped mask some areas of my body that have expanded during pregnancy while having to be in a swimsuit at one point...it will be nice to have this when the Spring comes and my body is still getting back to pre-pregnancy weight (with a baby and 2 other kiddos close to my skin) with less clothing on! All of these things I appreciate in a product for sure...it's amazing to find something that is free of harmful chemicals and gets the job done! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Very impressive so far (1 week) *by R***L on Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2019* Previously used Morrocan Sands facial tanner product for several years. For some reason production stopped. Tried 2 other products and not-satisfied. Saw GST on Amazon well rated. Have used it for about a week now. Short term use is the reason for only 4 stars rather than 5 (never know the future!). If initial experience continues it will certainly be a 5.First, it is a gradual tan effect, avoiding that sudden (uncomfortable) "glowing deep/dark tan" after a single use. Continual use = deeper tan, very naturally. Not greasy, easy to apply, and no "slather on" required. Dries quickly. Gradual color (but very natural and well toned) after about 3-6 hours or so. Color seems to last somewhat longer than other products I have tried over the years. No "orange effect" perceived as yet. Future will tell, but I doubt that will occur based on current use.
