A: Hello. GE5654 can replace its two 6J1 tubes.

**Q: Hi I installed these tubes on my Douk Audio ST-01 and I only get mono sound? I switched both tubes and still mono sound. Original tubes give m stereo.**
A: If I understand basic circuitry correctly, tubes don't have anything to do with determining stereo vs. mono. Tubes color the sound before it reaches the speakers, but there's nothing in the amp circuitry that makes the tubes responsible for stereo. It's more likely something to do with your signal source.
