Review: A great place to sit - This chair fills the bill for my showering. I have a bad back and arthritis of the hip which restrict my mobility. My shower is a walk-in which is large but has no grab bars in it. This Medokare chair is plenty sturdy for my 200 lb frame. It was easy to put together. My only complaint is that it was missing one washer, but no problem really. When I put it in the shower it performed just as it should. It is plenty wide so as to be comfortable for access and the arm bars are perfect for assisting me to stand from the sitting position. The height is adjustable for my 6'2" height. I researched many shower chairs and this one has all the features I need. Great product Medokare !

**Q: Does the little mesh tote bag hook onto the stool?  Or is it meant to hook onto the shower head?**
A: It hooks on to the stool so the person showering doesn’t have to get up and move around.

**Q: What is the weight limit on this?**
A: My husband had fallen in the shower a couple of times, then I got the shower chair for him and I instructed him to sit on the chair and use the handheld shower head.  This helped him a lot.  When I bought the chair he weighed about 220 lbs.  He ALS and this was very necessary.  At the time of his passing on July 19, 2021, he then weighed about 190 lbs.  I have cleaned the chair up and we have a family member that will eventually need this, as he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and I will be handing it down to him.  This chair was a life saver for my husband and me.  Thank you, and I hope this helps you.

I bought this shower chair bc I have POTs and whenever I would take a shower, my HR would go up to 150 and I would feel like passing out so I started to avoid taking showers bc it was so uncomfortable and unsafe. This chair has made a huge difference to help keep me safe while showering. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy while in the shower. The feet have rubber on them so the chair remains stable and doesn't move when you go to stand up and sit on it. You can easily lift it bc it's lightweight. The legs are adjustable if you're short (I'm 5'2") but can be adjusted if you're taller.
