I've been studying Surrealism for a long time and I learned about some artists that I'd never heard of before in this book. For instance Eileen Agar, Brassai, Esteban Frances, Wilhelm Freddie and Pierre Molinier, to name a few. All the usual suspects are here as well: Dali, Magritte, Miro, Delvaux, Masson, Ernst, De Chirico, Bellmer and so on. One thing I like about this book is that it includes a lot of examples of Surrealist paintings, photographs, collages and objects that are not typically included in books on Surrealism.
