They are very stable and the long stainless steel handles are well designed and don't heat up on the hob. These pans had no previous reviews so I chose them on the basis of the information provided by the seller which was completely accurate. The 'teflon' type non stick coating on my previous frying pans and small pots eventually wore off so not only did the food stick, the coating was contaminating the food. The two frying pans are deep enough to hold for example a pasta sauce or a curry and they don't retain smells or flavours. When frying food very little oil is required. I love the lid too which allows your dish to simmer away without drying out. The lids also have a sensible handle. Although I have only had these for a few weeks I would be surprised if either the pan or lid handles come loose. I believe these are also oven proof but I haven't tried that yet. The milk pan is a generous size and wonderful for scrambled eggs and sauces but also big enough for say, vegetables. Washing these pans is effortless. No scouring or soaking required - simply wash them with a soft cloth and some washing up liquid. In my opinion, this set is definitely value for money considering the quality of the product.
