As standard these carbs do not have a mixture screw which i believe is a massive downfall and as a result i couldn't adjust what i believed to be the main problem as it always smelt like it was running rich... So on a punt I decided to buy this carburetor off desertcart as for the money wouldn't have mattered if it hadn't cured the issue as strimmer would be replaced. HOWEVER, happy to report after fitting within 4 pulls it started without using the prime bulb at all and with a couple tweaks of the mixture screw it screams all way up to max revs with little to no smoke at all.
