The (single) power plug has a very generous lead - approximately two metres in length. Whilst the fountain can clearly be deployed outside, it is one of the few that make an excellent indoor water feature - with the amazing bonus that it is almost completely silent pump and with zero splashes beyond its base! I was also very pleasantly surprised that there are 8 (warm white) LEDs - a central cluster of 4 at the top plus a row of 4 at the bottom - something that their promotional video does not show or exploit! One point I would emphasise when erecting, is to ensure that where you are displaying is completely level (otherwise water will only cascade down one side of the waterfall). The only slight criticism I would offer about this excellent fountain, would be that there is clearly far too few pebbles - but that can be easily and cheaply rectified (but obviously ensure any additional ones are completely scrubbed clean). As I am writing this the same day as it has been delivered, I'm unable to comment on it's durability, but I feel confident that by following the care instructions within the A4 booklet, this should not be an issue. It comes up out the back of the tank but then is visible depending how far away from plug it is. Ours got bitten by a squirrel within two weeks! Very quick delivery and nothing broken, easy to install if I have one grievance it would be that you should be able to turn the lights off in the day time so you are not wasting electric I know it does not take much but every thing helps plus you can't see it if sun is shining onto it.
