He mostly lays in the car and jumps in and out. We got this to protect the uphoulstry, but the problem is the cover slides down the seat. Some dogs have a tendency to "dig" their seat before laying down, and with our dog Shadow, he does this sometimes, and it causes the seat cover to slouch. It's too bad there wasn't a way to put a long tube along the entire top portion of the cover to keep it from falling. Using the two straps on the headrests is not enough to keep the cover looking nice. I wish this would have worked out.
