- A website link to free DIY programming instructions will be provided with every order. 2 original working keys required in order to do self-programming. If you do not have 2 keys, you will need to get this key programmed by an automotive locksmith or dealership.
- Vehicles 2000 and 2001 years are NOT self-programmable and must be programmed by a dealer or automotive locksmith.
- Replacement for part numbers: MIT12-PT, MR587315, MR587317, BMIT12PT, MIT7315, MIT12PT, 5907793. WILL NOT WORK if you have FAST Key System (also known as Smart Key, Passive Keyless Entry, or Push Button Ignition)

Just wanted to give a thumbs up to a great product.  Took these to the dealer to get cut and programmed and was warned that after-market keys may have an issue.  Not so with these.  Easy-peasy and out the door with no fuss AT ALL!

Worked well with the locksmith and was able to be programmed and used on my car. Only downside is that there’s no Mitsubishi logo on the key but that’s not enough for a star knockdown. If you need replacement keys. These are it.
