I researched a number of different products prior to purchasing a 5th wheel travel trailer. The Sidewinder pin box solved the clearance issues caused by the narrow bed without creating unsafe towing conditions. I have pulled several different 5th wheels with traditional pin boxes. The only noticeable difference is the turning radius while backing. The trailer responds more like a bumper pull than a 5th wheel. Cab and bed clearance allows me to go past 90 degrees when backing without any concern.
