I sealed the steel tank on a 1986 F150 that I fill religiously with 87 10% ethanol. Hasn't leaked in over a year. **Q: How big of an area will one kit repair? Example 4 x 6 inches etc?? Thanks -Mike-** A: If you need the fiberglass patch, I think it was about 2"x4". If you're just using the epoxy, it will cover more area - probably a 10"x10" area or even larger if it doesn't need to be too thick. Just a word of caution that once you start mixing the 2 chemicals it starts to harden within about 15mins, so you don't have a lot of time to delay.
