Note the pair I received last year did not have countersunk screw holes thus I needed to purchase Round Head stainless steel screws to suit the hole diameter & of the length I required. **Q: Description says thread measures 3/4" but item received outer thread measures 1"?** A: On this adapter the external thread that attaches to the bar shower measures 1” inch. But as described this is the correct size and thread for the standard nut on the bar shower. Maybe it is the internal bore that is 3/4. Hope this helps. B **Q: Do you have this item but with a 1/2" bsp external thread to attach a std shower hose to** A: Only way to approach this is to use reducers. Search AMAZON 'Chrome plated 3/4" female to 1/2" male reducer' Various types available from about £4. I I have ordered this twice previously and then the third time it came from a different seller and as many of the most recent reviews have noted it doesn’t come with any nuts or olives. And they that’s not the main issue, even if you use your own nuts and olives you cannot create a satisfactory seal as the poor quality item sent out can’t be used with nuts & olives due to the connection having a flat edge rather than being tapered to suit an olive and nut.
