Review: Great Replacement - Perfect Fit - I ordered these to replace the seals in some glass canisters I’ve had for over 20 years. The old rubber ones were cracked and somewhat dry rotted. I use them to store pasta so I needed something new that wouldn’t crumble into my food. These were perfect replacements. I liked that they were silicon. They are the same size as my originals with the exception of being just a tad bit thinner. The jars still seal but not quite as tightly. My jar lid measured about 3.5” on top and 2.75” for the inner lip. Their original gaskets, measured new and before ever being attached to the jars, are 60mm ID and 90 mm OD, the OD of the larger jars' mouths (1-5L sizes) jars) is 93 mm, or 3.67 in. So these will "fit", but they'll be looser than the original gaskets. (Presumably because the product designer wanted only one size that would at least sorta kinda fit both the Bormioli Rocco and Le Parfait jars, despite the two brands of jars having measurably different sized mouths.) It probably wouldn't be a major issue most typical uses of the jars but personally, I'm going to keep looking for something sized more specifically for the Bormioli Rocco jars rather than settling for this one-size-fits-none-government-issue-sorta thing... **Q: What size are they?** A: Measured the outer edge of the lid this fits this ring-it's 3 1/8 in. Fits nice & snug on the glass storage jar. It's a pretty standard size. **Q: Size of ring** A: Inside diameter is 2 3/4", outside diameter is 3 3/4". Rings are soft and flexible to stretch across inside lid of canning jar. I am very happy with these rings. **Q: I need measurements of the inner and outer size of the rings** A: The inside diameter of mine is 2.75", the outside diameter is 3.75". It is a little stretchy, so if you need it a little wider, it should still work. I see that Mia says hers are 2 5/8" inner and 3 5/8" outer. I've had mine for a while now, so they have probably stretched out to the size of my jar lid. But seeing as the price was not outrageous I decided to give it a try anyway (despite the no-return policy, presumably due to health concerns). I was pleasantly surprised that they actually stretched a little bit and fit perfectly over my jars! So if your jar opening measures 3" ... these should work fine.
