Lopping shears are ideal for smoothly cutting small to medium twigs and large branches with minimal exertion. They are especially useful for removing diseased, damaged, dead, and unwanted or excess growth from shrubs and trees, as well as for shaping bushes and hedges. A bypass lopping shear works much like large scissors with long handles, with only one blade edge. When the handles are closed, the cut is made as the short, curved blade makes a pass besides the hook-shaped lower jaw positioned precisely against the blade. Both arms are made of 2-section telescopic steel tubing, that allows adjusting each arm to any length from 24 to 36 inches, providing maximum leverage and cutting power for tough jobs. A shock-absorbent rubber bumper serves to reduce jolt stress whenever the shear cuts through. The PVC grips on handles offer comfortable and good grip. The extendable handle of 26”-36” will let you work with some additional strength and leverage and to efficiently navigate about higher limbs. The ergonomically TOLSEN lopping shear telescopic steel tube handle are designed for finest grip to ease the cutting of any branch.
