Very fresh and soft. *by S***. on February 2, 2022* I had these on my wishlist for over a year. Not sure how I found them but I love gingerbread cookies. Did not get them right away because they were fairly expensive, about $15. Ended up purchasing these when their price dropped to ~$10 (with Prime) or less. LOTS of reviews stating their negative experience with these. Many reviews mention freshness and such. This is always a gamble when getting food online, I have found. Mine were very, very soft with a nice gingerbread flavor. Another things lots of the reviews mention is the odd texture. The bottom of each cookie has a sugar coating that is kind of airy and chewy, so I can see where people get the "paper" texture from now. All I can say is this was not a huge issue with mine but I get it. I can imagine some of you will not get as high quality freshness with your order but I hope you do because these cookies were great. I recommend these if you like soft gingerbread cookies.
