However, the product (a sleep mask) has subsequently been shown to leave marks on the pillowcase as though the dye is rubbing off. If I wash it to help remove excess due, I am sure the fabric glue which holds the inner lining to the foam padding forming the mask itself will dissolve and the two pieces will no longer adhere. Do the manufacturers not use a dye product that does not rub off by contact with the sleeper's head? This is the second time a sleep mask product has done this. We through out the first mask and bought from this seller. It’s soft on the exterior, but the foam is very stiff on my face and doesn’t fit my face well. This is not comfortable to wear and because of the fit and gaps, so lots of light gets in at the nose. In addition, the Velcro closure in the back is too tight on my head if no Velcro is exposed, but if any Velcro on the tab is exposed, my hair gets caught in it.
