No abnormal noises. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Quality part for the money. *by on Reviewed in the United States August 16, 2025* Replaced the open differential unit in my 99 Dodge Durango with this limited slip unit and it is an awesome upgrade!On the 9.25 Dodge differential replacement is simpleI suggest using only "Timkin" bearings, good quality gear oil and limited slip additive. I used Lucas 85W 140 gear oil and their additive. The differential is working perfectly. While you have things apart it is a good time to inspect/replace the outer axle bearings and axle seals which are very easy to replace at that time as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a legit yukon product *by on Reviewed in the United States March 22, 2025* Originally purchased one of the from a company in Wa state for double the price, this is a wholesaler which cuts the price drastically. Exact same packaging, product (stamped from manufacturer w/ serial numbers and everything), excellent customer service too. If you need a new locker for your gm 10 bolt this is the best option to replace the stock g80 (gov-lock/ gov-bomb). Ran my first one for 150k miles, didn't know fluid replacement was crucial to clutch longevity. I'll be changing this diff gear oil every 30k. True Yukon gear part, exact replacement for almost all gm 10 bolt rearends. Don't believe the -2 at the end of the part #, it's a ydggm8.5-3-30-1 made in the USA. This was less than half price from the local company that produces them, that company wanted to rip me off, this company sold me my parts at a reasonable price. I'll be recommending them to everone.
