It has definitely helped curb my barker and he never let out a single yelp so I really feel that this product works without causing the dog unnecessary harm. I'm giving the product as a whole a 3 though for several reasons. I feel that a better collar could be included with the product. The one it comes with moves around on my dogs neck or causes the bark control to move around on the collar itself and no matter how hard I try, I can't get it to stop. If you have a dog that shakes around a lot, this is something to consider. Luckily I had the sense to try it out and start training with it while I was at home so now my dog associates the warning beep with his unwanted constant barking so the collar moving around isn't as big of an issue. I am also giving the product a 3 because it does not come with adequate instructions. It does not come with instructions on what the two different prong sizes are for. If someone purchased this without ever having used or seen a bark collar, they could easily get confused. It also does not come with instructions on how to attach the bark control to the collar. I have never had a collar like the one this comes with so it did take me a little while to figure it out. If you're looking for a cheap solution to stop your dog's barking, this is probably a good option. If you're looking for a solution to stop a stubborn dog however, I probably would recommend you get a higher end bark collar due to the issues described above. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works! *by N***G on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on April 23, 2016* Our puppy was 16 weeks when we got him from a family who allowed him to wake at 3 or 4 a.m. and play for 2 hours then go back to sleep. Needless to say this did not work for my family with 2 young kids. I would take him to the bathroom at that early hour and then he would bark in his crate until someone let him out which could be heard through the whole house. We tried all the interventions that we knew of, making a loud noise near him while in his crate, trying to make him lie back down with us in bed but he's too busy for that, sleeping on the couch while he played (impossible due to the noise he makes), spraying him with water, all of it still meant we were up for the day at 3 or 4 a.m. So we got this collar for behavior modification. I wake when he barks to be let out at 3 or 4 (he's still a puppy I don't expect him to make it for more than 6 hours without relieving himself) and then I put the collar on him. He will bark 1 or 2 times and then is silent. We get up around 6 or 7 for the day and take it off. It does exactly what it claims. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 just b/c I thought the instructions that came with it could have been more specific. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Works great, collar is very cheap and easy to get off *by L***R on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on January 5, 2016* This is the best bark collar out there. My neighbor gave me one for Christmas for one of my 11 month old labs and it worked INSTANTLY. Unfortunately, his brother chewed it off the second day. I ordered two more for each dog but needed something in the meantime. The cheapest one at both major pet stores was $59.99. It worked just a fraction of the time and the sensitivity was awful. I got the two new ones today and it only took hearing the sound one time for both of them to not bark again, even when someone came to the door and they usually go NUTS. It was only the first time for one of them and he knew not to bark just from watching his brother. I highly recommend this one because the 2 sounds at the beginning work before ever getting to the shock.Update:The actual system works fantastically, however, I see now the reason it is so much cheaper is because the actual collar is cheaper. Both of my dogs were able to get it off when i wasn't around and chew it to pieces. I am ordering 2 more because they work so well, but I will be securing the collar part with something. But now I've spent way more than originally sold for.
