LEGOl Disney Frozen Anna & Kristoff's Sleigh Adventure 41066 Disney Toy

OK let's just say I must've always wanted legos as a kid because this (together with Arendelle Caste Celebration) is my favourite lego set that I got for—achem, er that my daughter got for Christmas. Ha! What can I say when I was little Lego sets were more boy-oriented less pretty. They've changed. I was never frozen crazy but I saw this commercial once online and knew I had to have these sets. We have played with this nearly every day since Christmas. Yes I'm not ashamed, I sit down and play Legos. Sometimes my baby girl even gets to join me—jk...a little. Took tons of pictures because I just love this. Lazy so I'm doing pretty much the same review on both sets because hey they are one to me. can't see one without the other at this point. I'll use different pictures to add to each review for some variation. Btw, Lego gets a big shout out from me.When I told them that there was only one spare skate (with the Arendelle set—not this one) and that it seemed unfair to have to choose which character got to skate they sent me another set. I told them that my daughter asked why it only came with three snowmen when in the movie Elsa sneezes out hundreds(?) (also referring to the Arendelle Castle celebration set). When I asked if there were more available to purchase the kind customer service rep said no then asked me how many would I like. I said well she's got three now so how about 97, lol. I told her I was kidding and that a couple more sounded good (since I really didn't want to be finding lego snowman all over the house)—she sent me five more so now we have eight. Concerning this set reviewed here I mentioned that Kristoff came with only two pieces of ice. I said my daughter said "hey Kristoff comes with two pieces of ice but what lake did he break them of them out of?" She then mused there really should be a lake with this...Kristoff has a pickax but no lake. Along with the five snowman she surprised me by sending 10 pieces of ice. My daughter has a little mini-lake from which Kristoff can chop ice. She made it into the shape of a popsicle with other pieces that came with the set but that's another story :). The customer service rep sent me those items free shipping and handling included. Lego has won over this mom for life. She said to let her know if any other piece is ever missing from the set, lego would be happy to replace it for free. So cheers to Lego for wonderful set s& great customer service. Thanks also to that lovely Lego customer service rep for a family of snowmen & for popsicle lake now located in Arendalle which—thanks to Kristof, Sven, & my daughter, provides the entire population with ice.The beauty of this set together with Lego's awesome customer service made it very worthwhile.*Pro-tips: Hunker down. It's going to take you a while to put this together the night before Christmas or for whatever event you plan to give it to your child. Do like I did, lasso an older sibling, pop in a movie, some snacks for later and have at it. Grab a play table that's going to be especially for this set. Ours rest on a (polished board) that's about 18" x 24" which I happened to have handy. * We simply move the board to her bed or sit it on mine or sit on the floor wherever we want to play. Take care when carrying it around. We've been lucky enough to have only two drops and those landed on carpet so luckily nothing broke. A table with sides on it probably would've prevented that. On that note: Keep the boxes & booklets stored for easy access in case the set needs to be put back together. Break ups don't happen often and they're usually in whole parts instead of tons of little pieces but it's good to have the books and pictures when you need them. *I suggest a lighter board than we use (ours is solid wood reclaimed from an old folding table & too heavy for her to move without help ). I don't know that I've seen a board that small for sale but making a lighter one may be my next project. Look into the purchase of the Arendelle Celebration set. It goes beautifully with this (adds fun idea that Anna changes clothes) plus Olaf and Elsa come with that set so that's the entire crew. Also for once you get something beautiful so you don't feel like you're purchasing a set just to get the other characters. These two are probably the longest reviews I've ever done for a purchase so far but it was worth it :).* see my review of LEGO l Disney Frozen Arendelle Castle Celebration... *Note: Olaf and the snowman customer (shown in this set's store) come from the Arendelle castle celebration set. My little girl likes to use the other snowman's bodies to make a taller "customer" snowman. What does she do with the heads? Why use them as balloons on the celebration cake of course! The last picture includes characters from the Arendelle castle set. As you can see it looks like Kristof & Anna are riding toward Arendelle castle for the birthday celebration.If you haven't seen the short film the set is from you may not get that ;). This was purchased & given as a gift in December 2016 however Amazon shows the date of the review not the verified purchase date. No, I do not get any products for free from anywhere—I paid for these sets. My kindergartener daughter provided the set ups and anecdotal joy.

It was a lovely set for a little girl who adores “Frozen.” However, since it is a Disney licensed toy, it is a bit over-priced. However, since the little girl was my grandchild, I chose to buy it anyway. And her brother, who loves anything Lego, assembled it for her, since he’s 6 and she’s 4. :)

Cute Lego set! I love it! Can't wait to give it to my great-niece!

This set was absolutely adorable! The reindeer Sven was so, so cute. My 4 year-old was most excited about him. He was also a good size compared to the figures. His back has a block sized hole in it in order to fit the reigns to the sleigh, so he isn't quite as cute without the sleigh. The building and "barn" like structure are pretty cute as well, however the reindeer is definitely the best part of this set!

Bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loves it! She's really into legos right now and loves making things look how she wants, not necessarily how they look in the pictures. We also bought some other sets and they can all be used together to make even more fun (and sometimes funny) combos. I'm glad Lego makes things like this. Very fun for kids to play with.

My kindergartner loves this. Very cute. 9-year-old sister helped her put it together without adult help. Last I saw, Kristoff was being held hostage by the Palace Pets LEGO Disney Princess Pumpkin's Royal Carriage 41141 atop Rapunzel's tower LEGO Disney Princess Rapunzel's Creativity Tower 41054 which was now housing an ice creamLEGO Friends 41094 Heartlake Lighthouse/treasure shopLEGO Disney Princess Cinderella's Romantic Castle 41055 run by a consortium of headless princesses.

Reading the other reviews I am feeling slightly relieved... I guess it’s a bad batch and I’m glad I found out with a few days left to get my refund!

Bought it for my 4 years old. It's a bit tricky to build at this age but she got some help from her big brother and they're having lots of fun playing with it!
