This one is a small knife I will be using to chop logs into kindling. I will essentially baton this knife using a hammer. So it has to be a strong and hard knife. I'm using the lowest grit belt right now to remove material. It has yet to be hardened. So the grinding belt is making short work of it. I'll move up the grits soon after I've tempered the steel. But there's lots of good things to say about these belts. Really great value for money to start. It comes in at around £1.30 per belt. In various grits up to polish. You can literally do 95% of any job using this belt set. I've added them to a draper belt grinder. The belt that came with the grinder is not as good as the equivalent in this set. They are well marked inside to give you all the information you need. I've moved a good 2mm from the knife in the pictures and there is little to no wear to the belt. I'm not going to tell you these are the best you can get. I'm certain they aren't. But for the cost. They are excellent. I will be buying more and I will recommend these to anyone who is looking for the same. Really decent quality for the price. Very pleased with them.
