These jack pads can be used with a (trolley jack): floor jack OR with a lift. This a very versatile tool and is very useful when raising a vehicle. My vehicle is a 2013 Dodge Challenger, as the 1087 pads fit nicely. Another added feature that is very welcome; is the magnetic aspect which holds the jack pad in place on the pinch, weld without any support.The 1087 Pinch Weld Magnetic Jack Pad sits on the pinch weld, below the rocker panel. There simply is not a better tool to keep in one's toolbox. More so, John (the innovater of ZL1 Addons) has been very courteous, professional, and has assisted me greatly with the technical specifications and characteristics of this product. We conversed via email sending photos and diagrams as well. ZL1 Addons stands behin all of their products, as their policy of exchange (or making amends) is unequaled by anyone; especially in the automotive area.As of today, I have not had the opportunity to place this item, or try this product, BUT we're certain it shall perform as advertised. When one sees a diamond, there is no need to question its value, it is inherent, "Like the ZL1 Addons'. We could not believe any providing OR posting negative comments regarding this product. We also thank Amazon for being the supplier, 'A trusted source and retailer'. ### ⭐⭐ Great looking, but does NOT securely fit the pinch weld on a 13-14 Focus ST! *by C***L on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 12, 2015* These jack pads look very nice, are clearly well made, have a good feel in your hands and attach readily to the pinch weld jacking points on my 2013 Ford Focus ST thanks to the clever magnets.Unfortunately, I assumed that they would actually fit the full depth of my pinch welds and cradle it just like the OEM scissor jack that comes with the car does, but they do not. The full length of the pinch welds and the depth of the OEM scissor jack (interior side) is identical at 0.92" (see pic). The depth of these are about 0.5" (I meaured them but don't recall exact depth). As soon as they are placed on the pinch welds they teeter about easily and this makes me nervous. I did not even attempt to jack up the car with them because of this.I wrongly assumed that these would fit securely on the pinch welds and the undercarriage of the car as the OEM jack does. I honestly see no advantage to using these instead of just using the floor jack alone. My jack has a flat pad and a contact area of 3.5" with the pinch welds and it will not teeter. Although it also makes contact with the OEM plastic side skirts because they are almost level with the pinch welds, I've jacked the car multiple times without causing any harm to them. I'm still confused as to the actual function of these pads on a Focus ST. If you are looking for a stable jack pad that cradles and supports the pinch weld like the OEM jack does, then this is not it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Groove depth to shallow for pinch weld. *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 14, 2014* Used these on my 2010 SRT8 Dodge Challenger 4 times so far. Noticed the groove isn't deep enough to fully seat the pinch weld. Made me nervouse using it but for the first couple times no issue. But when lowering it on the fourth use it rolled on the jack and snapped the side of the aluminum before my jack impacted the floor board and put a minor indent there while it was still lowering. Could have been worse so I'm going to have to try and find a set with a deeper groove so it seats better around the pinch weld.
