It has really nice heft to it and it has some kind of bottom that prevents it from moving around unless YOU move it. (Why doesn't every mug have that?) It is very nice to drink out of. The only thing that caused it to lose that final star is that you cannot put it in the dishwasher! And you are even warned not to subject it to sudden heat. I am scared I will accidentally put it under the hot water and ruin its natural beauty! And it IS beautiful - never thought I would say that about a travel mug! But I would be seriously upset if this got cloudy on me so I am being very careful.
