Sorry for the late answer. Spoon bowl is about 2 ounces, the ladle is about 4 ounces. I filled spoon and ladle until all around rim is full, then dumped water into Pyrex measuring cup. 2 spoons to make 4 oz, 1 ladle to also make 4 oz. **Q: Do these oxo good grips nylon utensils have heavy handles? my current one has such a heavy handle it flips out of the bowl.** A: I've never had that problem. I will say, though, don't expect some kind of high quality / nice handle. It's all just one big molded piece of nylon. **Q: How long?** A: The Oxo spoon is 13 1/2 inches long. **Q: Is the spoon supposed to come apart? I just received mine and the two parts of the handle separate pretty easily.** A: No, I would send it back for a replacement.
