The box is made of wood and measures 4.25" in diameter and 3" high. I start by painting it, then add my original art work to the top and sides with the design meaning on the bottom. The designs are printed on a parchment paper to give it a vintage look. A clear coat finishes the box and seals it. Add the custom foam ring insert for a unique Ring Bearer or Engagement Ring Box. The Claddagh Design is depicted by two hands clutching a heart complete with crown and epitomizes the expression of lasting love and eternal friendship. The heart symbolizes Love, the hands Friendship and the crown Fidelity. I have included a picture of the optional velvet ring insert that can be purchased separately. Made of white foam with covered with velvet. It currently comes in black, off white, purple, teal and green. It can be made to hold one ring or two, making this a wonderful alternative for a ring bearer. You can also choose to have a personal message put on the inside of the cover. I would recommend having the velvet fold down into the ring slots so you can't see the white foam that the black velvet is covering. It distracts from the beauty of this box.
