This is a comprehensive study guide, as she uses this when studying for all of the GED sections: math, science, verbal, and social studies. She has found it to be very helpful, as she has been out of school for literally 35 years. Her weakest area is the math, and this has been a great resource because it gives examples and lots of actual GED test style problems. I wanted her to have lots of exposure to word problems, geometry, fractions, percents, algebra, etc. because these are the types of problems that you'll see on the math section. Also, it is the 2016 version, so it is up-to-date with the current GED standard. It is her GED bible. Update: this was a great resource for her when she wasn't at my house getting math lessons from me. I would tutor her on the weekends, and then she would go home and work out of this book during the week. She took the test and passed it the first time, and she is definitely not a math person. I highly recommend this book.
