They do break easier than you would think, which is frustrating. Especially if you use aluminum hooks regularly. But their pointy tip, great hook shape, the handle length, being able to twirl the hook as you pull through a tight stitch, cannot be beat. So i have been buying another one when i break one. Anything smaller than 4.5mm needs a little more care. Aluminum you can pull through at any angle...
