I had a similar one that broke. The pull switch tended to get stuck. One time I pulled and the lamp came crashing down and cracked the glass lamp shade. This new lamp seems sturdier and well made, and pull switch is very smooth (as it should be). Simple and elegant. Came with an LED light bulb. It has been over few months now. So far so good. I expect it will last a long time.

Really authentic looking bankers lamp. The lamp cover and base are genuinely good quality. The piece is of substantial weight as well. I really did not expect it to be very good for the price but Im really glad I got it. Thoroughly worth it. I have not had any problems with lamp pull. I try to pull it straight down rather than on an angle, but I am careful with it because of some reviews where ones had problems with it. All in all, beautiful lamp, great purchase.

Lamp ordered through Amazon arrived with the glass shade cracked in half, so I contacted the customer support listed on the box to ask about replacement. After providing a copy of the invoice, they sent a replacement lamp to us. Easy, fast, and friendly customer service is always a big plus in my book.As for the product itself, it's very nice. Exactly what we were looking for. Very happy with the purchase. Light is bright, the shade covers it well, and construction feels pretty solid.
