As the owner of a rambunctious Goldendoodle who despises visits to the groomer, I was eager to try these clippers and see if I could tackle grooming on my own. After testing the PetLab clippers for a few months now, I can safely say they live up to their promises and then some. The clippers are very quiet - especially compared to cheaper models that sound like lawnmowers. My dog is much calmer being groomed at home with these whisper-quiet clippers. They still provide more than enough power to cut through my dog's thick, curly coat thanks to the titanium acute-angle blade and 5500 RPM motor. What really sets the PetLab clippers apart is their rechargeable battery. I can groom my entire dog on one 2 hour charge. The battery indicator lets me know when its time to recharge. The clippers also come with multiple comb guides so I can trim my dog's body and face to the perfect length without nicking his skin. For pet owners looking for professional-quality grooming without the hassle and cost of a groomer visit, the PetLab Dog Clippers are a phenomenal product. My dog's coat has never looked better and the grooming experience is far less stressful for both of us. I would highly recommend these clippers to any pet parent! Being cordless makes them much easier to use than corded. The battery has lasted for a long time, I have done two trims and haven't had to charge it again since first charging it. I find them really good, and the seller's customer service is excellent. **Q: Do u sell the charger lead separately** A: I would think they should be available as it is the same lead as a range of popular shavers. **Q: Has anyone used these on rabbits with matted fur? Were they good and not too stressful for the rabbit?** A: I used it for a very hairy dog, it is amazing ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ PetLab Dog Clippers Deliver a Smooth, Low-Noise Groom at Home *by R***N on 16 November 2023* PetLab Dog Clippers Deliver a Smooth, Low-Noise Groom at Home With over 4,000 positive reviews and a 4.3 out of 5 star rating, the PetLab Professional Dog Grooming Clippers have proven their worth for pet parents looking to DIY groom their furry friends at home. The clippers are easy to use, quiet, and gentle on my furry friend's coat. The set comes with everything needed for grooming, making it convenient and versatile. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and effective grooming tool for their beloved pet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but not quite perfect *by J***O on 8 February 2022* Good points: being cordless makes grooming so much easier when wrestling with a reluctant pet with sensitive paws. Came fully charged so could just pop the battery in and get on with it. Handset is lighter than our previous corded clippers. Good quality accessories. Bad points: All the controls are where you would want to hold the clippers so I kept switching them off or changing the speed up and down which is annoying if you have got the dog in a certain position only for them to cut out plus with a curly coated dog like ours slowing the speed seemed to just snag in his coat. Also found that the amount of charge kept changing, presuming they would not last 2 to 3 hours at full speed, it took nearly an hour combining clippers with scissor work and dropped to 25% charge and seemed to be lagging. Also noticed the metal part of the blades got really hot so kept switching them off to let them cool off. All in all a good value product for the half price offer, don't think they would ever be worth full price. As you can see from the pic the dog wasn't impressed :D --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/210003289-petlab-long-thick-hair-clippers-for-dogs-professional-pets-long](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/210003289-petlab-long-thick-hair-clippers-for-dogs-professional-pets-long) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
