I also needed the payment plan option which influenced my choice.First please make sure you unroll the mattress with the patterned side up. I didn't and paid the price having to wrestle it over to the other side.I was concerned about reports that the corners didn't inflate. At first it seems like they won't but 24 hours later the mattress is perfectly shaped.It was so comfortable to sleep on. The springs provide a slight bounce but not enough as to disturb my husband when getting up.This king mattress replaced a 5 year old zinus gel foam 10". The old mattress was still ok but I wanted to try the hybrid and I do prefer the new one.My "beef" with memory foam is the lack of bounce.There's no give to memory foam which is weird to me. I am completely satisfied with this purchase and will recommend Zinus to anyone. Be aware that the thickness of the mattress will determine how "soft" it is. The 8 inch mattress in the guest bedroom is not a plush top and has a more firm support. This 12 inch hybrid is exactly what I was looking for.
