Just in time for hottest July since records have been kept and $200 less than Autozone. Update: Ironically within a day of writing orig review, the unit started its descent. Got me through 3 months then beginning the 4th month, worked sometimes until it produced no cold air more often than it cooled. Had to recharge a few times since 3rd month. On the 4 month anniversary of receipt while waiting in 86 degree heat to pick up friend from train this compressor's seal apparently broke as it emitted smoke/steam and all the factory sealed oil oozed out on to under car shroud and the ground. Thankfully it did not seize, so belt still spins/and car is driveable. Amazon was stand up and had a replacement on my doorstep less than 24 hours after my call from the train station lot. I rechecked reviews, noted my orig was one of the few good ones. I decided not to be fooled twice. I'm sending both failed unit and replacement back and going w OEM compressor which Amazon sells for 47 more than I paid for this brand (which has since dropped about 35 in...price). I'm stuck with paying for reinstall on out of my pocket and can't imagine doing same again in months not years. Orig lasted 8 years. Hopefully OEM I decided to go with lasts years, not months.
