You can set the PSI thatYou want and start it. It will shut off when the proper amount of air has been added. It takes about 10-12 minutes, but is well worth the wait.I leave my car running while I fill it.It was well worth the money ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Completes it's purpose *by L***N on September 6, 2020* It accomplishes what it's made for. I inflates and deflates my Gili paddle board great. The only cons are 1. It's a little tough to screw the hose in but other that it securely fits when in and 2) it feels cheaply made. I question if it's worth the $$ but after looking around for pumps, it doesn't seem to get any cheaper than the cost of this one.
