But since it's so thick, I dont think it ever comes into contact with my scalp. You'd have to thin it out with water and work a ton of product in your hair to the ever reach the scalp. If your son is under 20, please research on this product's safety in teens and young men. I've read articles that it can interfere with me testosterone. Could be BS, and the report may have only been for underarm products, but definitely worth checking into. If he hasn't tried garnier fructis products yet, I have nothing but good experiences with them.
