Simply hooks on to your D-Rings Fabric loop as shown in pictures - please check that you can fit at least one to three pencils in your fabric loop that holds the D-rings on your helmet to use this item (mostly full face motorcycle dirt bike and snowmobile helmets) but if you can fit 4 + search our Beanie style quick release . Not meant for Ski, Snowboard or Bicycle Helmets IMPORTANT: If you have a strap de flapping button on the end of your strap you will have to simply just pop it off with a screw driver - it is no longer needed with this quick release as it comes with a slide that stops your strap from slapping anyway. Exceeds DOT FMVSS NO. 218 FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARDS

Very easy to fit, took me about 3 minutes after watching the installation video and well worth the money! Highly recommended all over the internet and a very good quality buckle. Top tip, use a small screwdriver or tweezers to help manoeuvre the main part of the buckle into place on the existing D ring strap. It makes light work of the job, just take care not to damage the strap with force.

Really pleased with this strong (metallic) quick release buckle. As the instructional videos show, it can be tricky to install, but I was so convinced about this product that I was prepared to remove the D Rings on my helmet and fit it that way. Now I have a helmet that is much easier to wear...the quick release mechanism is smooth and secure!
