If you're unaware of her, she's an affordable makeup reviewer on YouTube &she's an absolute doll! The woman is absolutely delightful &although long winded, very charming. She professes to not be any good at makeup (LIES) &one of her catch phrases is "I mean really guys!" hence the front of the sleeve. All of the shade names are names she picked out for people &places that are near &dear to her. Like her husband "hunies' &her two boys &father (pamps). She's one of the most down to earth, humble, funny youtubers I watch &she deserves all of our support. That being said, the palette itself is phenomenal! I'm no beginner at makeup &I find this to be a very good mix of color. It's actually a rainbow palette with a few pops of neutral &a black with blue microglitters. Upon arm swatching the palette, I found the black to be sort of sheer, the lighter yellowy green (alex) to be sheer &the most beautiful shade in the palette (icy queen) to be hard to swatch but only because it's 100% a topper shade. It's one of the most gorgeous mutlichrome shades I own! It looks light pink in the pan but it's actually an iridescent blue/lilac w/a pink shift. Stunning. It transforms literally any shade into something spectacular &can also make a gorgeous face highlight if you love colorful highlights like me. For the pricepoint? Worth it all day long even just for that one shade!! I love her so much! "I mean really" I purchased 2 palettes! Sadly both arrived broken. I put in for replacements. when the replacements arrive I will use the formula & update my review with my thoughts♡♡♡ #iLoveYouAnwen*!!EDITED 2 UPDATE!!* My replacements arrived! Packaging was still the same (NOT GOOD) But by the grace of the makeup gods both palettes arrived intact and unbroken!!! As far as the formula goes, I was pleased. The matte shadows aren't perfect but they are very buildable which is great when experimenting with colors outside of my comfort zone. The shimmers are STUNNING! Like butter! & Pigmented AF!!! Im so proud of you Anwen! Tbis colab was a long time coming♡ BEAUTIFUL ♡ That being said, i am changing my 3☆review to a 4 ☆review. Like to make a conscious decisions about what am I buying,so I was more than happy to see that this palette has a few positivities for me to buy it. It’s cruelty free, infused with natural ingredients for the longevity and using minerals for the best pigmentations. That was my yes for buying it, my skin is sensitive, specially around my eyes. No disappointment, the day I got, I tried out at least 5 different color combinations and my skin wasn’t burning or wasn’t red. Like the matte and the shimmery colors equally, only difference for me is the lighter colors are nicer on my face and I prefer using them. The darker colors here and there using only in patches. Specially, on the outer corner of the eye, makes it look bigger. Except the matte, the other colors are so soft and creamy. I was using my finger tips to apply. I love the experiment with the colors, to mix and blend them. This palette has beautiful pink shades which are perfect just like that. Didn’t tested the longevity yet, hopefully soon the opportunity will come.
