It tests your knowledge of movies, actors, phrases, characters, and your ability to make connections between them. I recommend viewing the Cinelinx product page for a better description of the game, considering this review is for the expansion pack, I wanted to stay focused on that. Really though, I cannot praise Cinelinx enough because it is so much fun. It’s easy to explain, and the more people that play the more fun it is. It’s also incredibly fun to play with just 2 people! My fiancé and I play all the time, and whenever we watch movies now, we make connections!The expansion pack is great. It includes a lot more actors, movies, characters, quotes and scenes. Many of the ones included were ones we kept saying that we wished were in the game but weren’t. The expansion pack does include some R-rated language and events but it’s all in the fun of the game. I probably could have done without the Marsellus Wallace card…you know which scene I’m talking about.I could rave about this game all day long because of how awesome I think it is. If you like movies and are okay with actors names and knowing what they’re in, pick this game up now! You will have hours and hours of endless fun!I do want to mention a couple negative things. When you buy the expansion pack, you now have too many cards to fit inside the Cinelinx box but if you want to combine the expansion pack with the normal deck you will need to mix them all together. So, now you’re faced with either picking out all the red band cards to put back into its own case or just filling the box as full as you can and putting the rest in the red band case. Either way, it’s kind of annoying. The other, and this is probably my own fault, the red band edition comes with two more directors cut cards that are the “You Call It” card. Among the 10 or so people that I’ve played this game with, not a single one of us understands what that card means. We almost always remove them from the deck when we play, which seems like a waste.
