## Description

SPEEDWOW Universal Oil Catch Can Tank Filter Baffled With Hose Kit, 300ML(Red)

## Features

- 【𝐊𝐄𝐄𝐏 𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍】 The baffle system in the Oil Catch Can Kit could catch the oil and moisture from PCV/CCV air, prevent misfires due to carbon accumulation, keep the engine clean and prolongs engine life. Don't use the filter on a PCV system, you'll just break the vacuum and cause engine problems. This filter applies only to the front of the PCV system.
- 【𝐔𝐏𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐂𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄】 Our Oil Catch Can Kit has a removable baffle that can store additional filter media. Oil Catch Can have a built-in dipstick to check fluid level and a removable bottom to drain making it reusable, hose clamp reinforcement to prevent the hose from falling off.
- 【𝐍𝐁𝐑 𝟑/𝟖" 𝐅𝐔𝐄𝐋 𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄】 The Oil Catch Can Kit uses NBR 3/8" hose which is Excellent oil resistance (resistance to mineral oil, liquid fuel), high wear resistance, good heat resistance. You don't need to buy an additional hose.
- 【𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄】 Our Oil Catch Can Kit has hoses, clamps, and mounting brackets which are made of aluminum, lightweight, and durable. It can greatly prolong the service engine life of your car.
- 【𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄】 When the temperature outside reaches the freezing point or below, the crank vent system will generate a much greater amount of moisture which can present a risk of freezing. Please clean your oil catch can on a weekly or install the original PCV hose.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: legal in Calif?**
A: The PVC system remains a "closed system", no check engine light. The catch cans (passenger and driver sides on the twin turbo 3.5 Ecoboost F 150) only collect moisture, water vapor mixed with unburned fuel most in the form of foam. The remaining gaseous material continues in the PVC lines. I collect the proceeds once a week and pour the liquid into a gallon plastic jug. The passenger side generally has about three ounces and the driver side about an ounce. The liquid smells volatile and would have been injested into the intake manifold under vacume or the post air filter air intake into the turbo chargers during boost. I have collected about a quart in two months (2000 miles) and have not used any oil (Pennsoil Platinum 5w30 synthetic) in the same period. This is far more liquid than collected in my last two applications, that were not turbo charged. This model of the 3.5 Ecoboost is direct fuel injected, my goal is to keep the back side of the intake valves clean.
I can't imagine why California would have a problem with the collection of the liquids other than the disposal. Terry

**Q: Will this work on a 2006 Nissan titan**
A: I dont see why it wouldn't as long as you have space to mount it and allow yourself access to unscrew the can to empty from time to time. Just so you know this catch can doesnt work all that well. I even added very coarse stainless steel to the bottom of the can which helps some. Also, the in and out ports are reversed so the vent from the valve cover would go to the out on the can.

**Q: Doesn't the bronze filter cause increased crankcase pressure resulting in blowing seals? Saw a video showing 4x more pressure than normal.**
A: You can buy with confidence, no, this product has been tested before leaving the factory and meets the standard.

**Q: i got a 2012 sonata and im not sure i hooked up catch can correctly, i have line going from pcv to inlet and line going from outlet to intake?**
A: Thanks for your inquiry
you can choose to use the following installation method
①. Connect the PCV valve and the intake manifold in series with the oil can without air filter;
②. Connect the oil can with the air filter in series to the air outlet of the engine cylinder head and the air inlet of the turbocharger pipe
You can choose to install or not install the air filter according to the installation location. According to the correct installation method, it will not affect the performance and fuel consumption of the car.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality with a compact size
*by N***A on June 6, 2025*

Catch can is small and can fit a variety of builds. Quality is very good and I've yet to see any leaking from it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Installed Catch Can and think it is a very well made product
*by T*** on November 19, 2023*

ADDED UPDATE: LOOKING AT ADD’l PICTURES(especially the Red can) that Customers have sent in, I’M CONCERNED SOME CANS MIGHT BE INSTALLED BACKWARDS BECAUSE OF MISS LABELING. NO MATTER WHAT THE “WORDS” OR “ARROWS” SHOW, THE “IN PORT” HAS THE DIP STICK. AND THE “OUT PORT” HAS THE BRASS FILTER(the air enters the Can, THEN exits thru the Brass Micron Filter).I have a 2019 Outback. 1st pic is a Before pic. Next I have taken off the PCV Hose (Save Hose,Store with spare Tire so it won't be lost), exposing the Air Intake port and the PCV Valve directly below. Last pic is my final install. The most time spent was on fashioning the Aluminum L bracket supplied for install. With a Torch and 5lb hammer, I put two 90 degree bends and twisted the last 3" to 45 degrees to aim Can towardsports more directly. The can is nicely elevated so I can easily reach to unscrew the bottom of Can to empty. When connecting the ports to the Can (I used the 8mm), be sure to put the O rings on. And DON'T over tighten. Look to be sure the O ring is pressed firmly against Can, but NOT distorted and sticking out. It happened to me my first attempt actually. I backed it off and noticed the O ring went back under theFlange, hidden as it should be. I wanted to be certain there would be a good seal, so I backed both Ports out and added additional turns of Teflon tape(Supplied). I would say I put on 5 complete turns of T tape overall. Be sure tape is not covering the threaded opening. I set my fingernail lightly on the Tape at the beginning of the thread. Applying only enough pressure to "indent" the tape into threads, and not cut it. This will make it easier to "seat" the thread, and screw it in BY HAND AT FIRST. Now the port will feel more snug as you screw it to it's base. Only 1 Negative comment about product. The "In" and "Out" Ports are marked correctly with those words. Next to the Words are Arrows(Triangles), that face the WRONG Way! Annoying, but not worth returning it. I simply took a Black Sharpie and Blotted out both Triangles. I read Mfr had fixed this issue, apparently not. I started my Subaru and let it warm up. I had read a comment from someone who experienced their idle going up a bit. Mine did not. It's about 700 RPM as it always has been.Bottom Line --- Very happy with Product. It is Well Made, looks good and I hope my future experience will prove it was worth installing. All Hoses etc, worked for me. Didn't need to visit an Autozone to complete my project, and had Fun during the Install.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits well and quality is great
*by S***1 on January 12, 2025*

I did this on my 2020 Infiniti Q50. It was a tight fit but works perfectly with the bracket they provide. For the hose, you need to make sure you measure correctly before you cut it into two pipes, one for inlet and the other for outlet.Only 4 stars because they only provided 2 hose clamps instead of 4 knowing that there will be two pipes with 2 ends each needing a clamp, so I just ended up getting 2 from Home Depot but you could find them in other places too.For the Q50, I found it easier to just hold the catch can while loosening the bolt that the bracket is fixed to and lift the whole thing upwards carefully to be able to unscrew and empty the can because of the tight fit in the engine bay.For any confusions: The outlet (further edge engine bay or nearest to the window of the car) is the pipe that fits into the side of the can with the dipstick. The inlet (closer edge engine bay or front bumper side) is the one that fits onto the side of the can with the bronze filter.
