**Q: So can this cook spaghetti or penne? Approx how much, 1/2 pound at a time??**
A: Yes, I cook 8oz of pasta in it regularly, I’ve used several shapes and it works great, could probably go to about 12oz before it’s a little crowded, but I only cook for two. You might have to break the spaghetti in half to get it to fit initially, but that’s the same with any smaller pot.

**Q: Can you cook rice in in?**
A: Thank you for your question. We don't suggest cooking rice with the electric hot pot.

**Q: Can this be used to heat frozen and packaged ready to heat food?**
A: I don’t think so. I use it to heat up soup, boil water for tea, boil eggs.
