I've tried SO many. the design is brilliant. you just drop your phone in. no wrestling to get it in or out AND YET it still holds it snugly (gravity-based) so that it doesn't go flying out at you. So short of rolling your car, it should stay put. it had a nice quality feel to it. for reference, I have an old Galaxy Note 9it has a fairly small non-bulky footprint and no stupid suction cups. it hooks behind the slats of your air vents and then has a dial to adjust snuggly. a second dial allows you to tighten the angle for holding the phone. it should work even in cars with vertical vents instead of horizontal, but it probably wouldnt be ideal.The vent that it's attached to can still be used. I MIGHT have to close the vent in the winter (or just wait until the car warms up and the heat isn't blasting), but in the summer it will for sure keep the phone from overheating the way it did in the dashboard holders.the data/charging cord can easily be inserted or removed while the phone is in the charger.I placed it on my center driver side vent which is a perfect placement for me to see the GPS without it interfering with anything else.I was looking at cup holder phone holders when I stumbled on this one and I'm so glad that I got it instead (and the price was fantastic)The only downside I can see is that you can only position the phone in portrait mode (no option for landscape that I can see) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great accessory, slight customization may be needed for phone seating *by on Reviewed in the United States August 5, 2026* Very secure and easy to install and use.
