Measurements: 16 1/2" x 14" x 1 3/16" Other: How to season and care for your cast-iron pizza pan/griddle: Though the pan comes pre-seasoned for a non-stick surface, we recommend re-seasoning prior to first use for optimal benefits. To re-season your pan, wash with hot, soapy water and towel dry immediately. Cover your oven tray with a sheet of aluminum foil to catch grease and heat the oven to 350 degrees. Then coat the pan lightly with vegetable oil or melted shortening and bake upside down for one hour. Once you have seasoned it for the first time, do not wash it with soap again or put it in the dishwasher. Ongoing care: After cooking, wash it with a coarse sponge or nylon brush and hot water only. Bought this to use on my Big Green Egg. Fits perfectly. Smoked a ham on it and the rim is low enough to allow the smoke to permeate, but high enough to catch the juices. Would also work great on the stove for pancakes, burgers, hot dogs, or whatever you grill inside. Nothing heats up like cast iron!
