Between two purchases of this product, I tried another compostable cup that was marketed as safe for hot or cold drinks. These are much more sturdy; in fact that others seemed to to crumble when ice is added. These are advertised strictly for hot drinks; however, they work just as well with cold. I do need to use sleeves with them (as with the other); because the heat of coffee bleeds through. My only real complaint is that they are not microwaveable, which I only discovered on the bottom of a cup after reheating coffee in the microwave. Nothing happened; the cup held up; and I really do not understand why they cannot be nuked. However, I assume there is some reason for the warning; so I have never made that mistake again.

I bought these recently instead of some eco cups that weren't in stock. They are a nice size for coffee and the material kept your hand from burning.I am giving them a four star rating because while they worked for hot drinks they fell apart if we used them for cold drinks. I understand they are for hot drinks what I can't understand is why a cold drink like soda water should cause them to fall apart. I would buy them again but would prefer the cups I previously bought because they held up no matter what we filled them with.Update June 2019I just wanted to update my review because I really love these cups for hot coffee when we are traveling and/or camping. I still wouldn’t use them for cold drinks but for coffee they are a generous size, are easy to hold and cozy for your hands as you sip your morning ambrosia.

for the office. If you don't have your own cup, you use one of these. No complaints from the tenants. The vendor is reliable and they arrive early or on schedule.

These are really outstanding coffee cups that are made of thick paper that does not leak or get overly hot. I really like the construction of the cups and use them every day.

The ONLY reason I keep buying these are because they are one of the only cups to fit my pathetically small travel Keurig. But they are rubbish.If I don't drink the coffee right away, it immediately sets about to destroy the seam. You can see the effects almost instantly.But even if the seam stayed intact, these cups are too thin, and burn my fingers to hold.All of that, I would have accepted without complaint, and just stayed miserable to myself. If I had gotten around to writing a review, I might have gifted a third star just for them being cheaply priced. But the fact that the price has nearly doubled since my last purchase?!?! NU-UH! No way. Not even close. These cups were barely passable at $6+ per pack of 50! At nearly twice that, I'm looking for something else!

I am very pleased with the sturdiness of these cups. I have ordered several different brands, and feel very pleased to have found this one!

This product is sturdy and very nice material. Gives a little after first use but can be used again for drinks. Very cheap to me and prime shipping is cool. The cups are cups and are good quality that is nice I will probably buy this brand again for cold water cups

I got these disposable cups to serve hot drinks to family members. They are very sturdy and high quality, imagine a Starbucks cup, but much better quality. This can probably hold liquids for 12 hours or more and not leak. But quality also comes with a high price point. These were one of the few options on Amazon that had next day shipping, and I really needed them, so I ended up spending more for disposable cups than I originally planned. But these were really quality cups, not that I will buy them again, but if someone is looking for high quality and greatly made disposable cups, these would be your choice.
