**Q: How big and how thick are these?**
A: 3 3/4 in diameter and 1/2 inch thick.

**Q: Do these have to be boiled to activate before each use?**
A: Yes they do

**Q: can you use a microwave?**
A: Emma - we cannot recommend or suggest that these are capable of being put in the microwave at any point in time.  To guarantee best results and, more importantly, customer safety we tell all of our valued customers to only boil in water to reset these packs.

**Q: How long does it last?**
A: Thank you for your question. The duration of heat depends on the condition in which the heat pack is activated. Overall, it should last between 30 and 45 minutes. For example, if you are going to be using it outside in extreme cold, we recommend carrying it inside a coat or pocket. The colder the starting temperature of the heat pack, the more energy it will required to heat up and ultimately affect the length of time the product stays warms.
